Refund Policy
Effective October 15, 2026
Freight is billed for service performed, so most refunds involve billing corrections or service failures. This policy explains how we handle them.
Billing errors
If an invoice doesn't match your rate confirmation or includes a charge that wasn't documented, tell us within 60 days of the invoice date. We'll review the paperwork and, if we billed in error, issue a corrected invoice or refund the difference within 10 business days of approval.
Accessorial disputes
Detention, lumper, layover, and similar charges must be supported by documentation such as in/out times or receipts. If we can't support a charge, we'll remove it.
Cancellations
- Cancelled before the truck is dispatched: no charge, and any prepayment is refunded in full.
- Cancelled after dispatch: a truck-ordered-not-used (TONU) fee may apply as stated on your rate confirmation; any remaining prepayment is refunded.
- If we cancel or can't cover a confirmed load, there's no charge and any prepayment is refunded in full.
Service failures
If we miss a confirmed appointment because of our own error (not weather, traffic incidents, terminal delays, or late release information), contact us. Depending on the circumstances, we may reduce or credit freight charges for that load. We'll explain our decision in writing.
Cargo loss or damage
Loss and damage to freight are handled through the claims process in our Terms of Service, not through this refund policy.
How to request a refund or correction
Email support@camilotrucking.us or call (813) 885-6731 with the load or invoice number and the reason for your request. We'll acknowledge within 1 business day and respond in writing within 10 business days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method or are credited to your account, as you prefer.
Disputes
If you disagree with our decision, see the complaints and dispute resolution section of our Terms of Service.
