Terms of Service
Effective October 15, 2026
These terms apply to freight transportation provided by Camilo Trucking of Tampa, Inc. ("Camilo Trucking," "we," "us"), 9508 Drakemill Ct, Tampa, FL 33615, and to your use of camilotrucking.us. If a signed rate confirmation, bill of lading, or transportation agreement conflicts with these terms, that document controls for that shipment.
Our services
We provide truckload transportation, including dry van, refrigerated, flatbed, container drayage, dedicated, and expedited service, mainly within Florida and the southeastern United States.
Quotes and rate confirmations
- Quotes are based on the information you provide (origin, destination, dates, commodity, weight, dimensions, and equipment). Material differences may change the rate.
- Every load is confirmed in a written rate confirmation listing the line-haul rate, fuel, and any expected accessorial charges.
- Accessorials not on the confirmation, such as detention beyond free time, lumper fees, or extra stops, are billed only if they occur and are documented.
Shipper responsibilities
- Describe freight accurately, including weight, hazardous materials status, and temperature requirements;
- Package and load freight properly for transport (for shipper-load-and-count loads, the shipper is responsible for load quantity and condition);
- Provide accurate pickup and delivery appointment times and contacts;
- For drayage, provide release information, last free day, and cutoff dates promptly.
Payment
Invoices are sent with the signed proof of delivery and are due within the terms on your rate confirmation, typically 30 days. We may require prepayment from new customers or for expedited moves.
Cargo loss and damage claims
Note any visible shortage or damage on the delivery receipt and tell us within 24 hours. Claims must be filed in writing with supporting documents. For interstate shipments, claims are handled under the Carmack Amendment and federal claim regulations (49 CFR Part 370): file within nine months of delivery; we acknowledge within 30 days and pay, decline, or make a firm settlement offer within 120 days. Our liability is limited as stated in the bill of lading or rate confirmation and does not extend to losses caused by the shipper's packaging or loading, inherent vice of the goods, or acts of God.
Delays
We work to meet appointment times, but transit times are estimates. We're not responsible for delays caused by weather, road closures, terminal congestion, government action, or other events outside our control, nor for demurrage or per diem caused by such events or by late release information.
Cancellations
Please cancel as early as possible. A truck-ordered-not-used (TONU) charge may apply if a load is cancelled after the truck is dispatched, as stated on your rate confirmation.
Limitation of liability
Except for cargo claims governed by applicable law, our liability for any claim related to a shipment is limited to the freight charges for that shipment. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages, such as lost profits or production downtime, to the extent permitted by law.
Complaints and dispute resolution
Contact support@camilotrucking.us or (813) 885-6731. We'll acknowledge within 1 business day and respond in writing within 10 business days (cargo claims follow the timeline above). If we can't resolve a dispute, both parties agree to attempt good-faith mediation in Hillsborough County, Florida before filing suit, except for small-claims matters. These terms are governed by Florida law and applicable federal law.
Website use
Information on this site, including the load planner, is for general planning and isn't a quote, legal advice, or a guarantee that a load is legal. Don't misuse the site or its forms.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version in effect on the date of your rate confirmation applies to that shipment.
